How it works
Send a few photos of the boat. Canvas makers and boat upholsterers in Poland, the Baltics and Ukraine send price proposals. The one you choose travels to your harbour, makes a template on site and comes back to install.
Nine steps, two trips to your berth.
You do most of it on your phone. The workshop comes to the boat twice: first to measure, then to install.
Money changes hands twice. A booking fee to us once you have chosen a quote, and the rest directly to the workshop. How the fee is calculated
- From homeSteps 1–41
You send a request
Boat model, harbour, a few photos and what needs doing. Docky, our AI helper, asks for anything missing.
WhoYou - 2
We send it to up to 3 workshops
Workshops that sew what you need and travel to your part of Sweden. They get the request in their own language.
WhoUs - 3
You get price proposals
An estimated price that may change by at most 10 % once the workshop has measured. Questions and answers are translated both ways, and the original text is always shown alongside.
WhoThe workshop - 4
You choose a quote
Compare price, materials, ratings and when they can come. If none fits, you close the request and it costs nothing.
WhoYou - The feeSteps 5–65
You pay the booking fee
8 % of the estimated price, at least SEK 500. It is deducted from the workshop's price, so you do not pay more in total.
WhoYouFee to usThe workshop's details
- Phone
Shown once the booking fee is paid. Until then all questions go through us, so nobody has to give their number to several workshops.

You get each other's contact details
Now you talk directly to the workshop. You and the workshop sign the agreement for the job with each other.
WhoYou and the workshop - At the dockSteps 7–97
The workshop comes and measures
They make a template on the boat and then set the final price. If it differs by more than 10 % from the quote and you say no, we refund the fee.

The workshop sews and installs
The canvas or cushions are sewn at the workshop and installed on site. You pay for the job directly to the workshop.

After a month we get in touch
Did it turn out as agreed? Your rating and photos help the next boat owner. If something is wrong, we contact the workshop together with you.
WhoUs
We are the go-between. You sign the agreement with the workshop.
We sew nothing ourselves and we are not a party to the job. We find the workshops, translate, keep track of who should answer and make sure you get quotes you can compare.
We earn money on one thing only: the booking fee you pay once you have chosen a quote. It is deducted from the workshop's price, so your total stays the same.
Once the fee is paid, we release the contact details in both directions.
- The workshop's estimated price
- SEK 40,000
- Booking fee to us
- SEK 3,200
- Paid when you choose the quote.
- To the workshop
- SEK 36,800
- Paid directly to the workshop, as agreed between you.
- Your total
- SEK 40,000
The fee is at least SEK 500. On a repair for SEK 2,400 it is therefore SEK 500.
The rule is not final. The one that applies to your job is shown on the payment page before you pay.
When do you get the fee back?
- The final price differs by more than 10 % from the quote and you say no
- You get the whole fee back.
- The workshop pulls out after you have paid
- You get the whole fee back.
- You change your mind before choosing a quote
- You have not paid anything, so there is nothing to refund.
- You change your mind after paying
- Get in touch with us. The terms say what applies.
- Guarantees and delivery times
- Those are given by the workshop in its agreement with you. We promise nothing about the job itself.
The workshops take the ferry over.
The canvas makers and upholsterers are in Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Ukraine. They drive over with template film and tools, measure at your berth, go home and sew, and come back to install.
We check every workshop's VAT number, and all of them sign our agreement and a data processing agreement for your details. Ukraine is outside the EU. There we check the details by hand, and the agreement includes the EU standard contractual clauses.

Standing by the boat right now?
Then you have most of what is needed. No measurements needed; the workshop takes them when they come.
- The boat's model, for example Princess 56 or Albin 25
- The harbour where it lies
- Three to six photos in daylight
If a workshop has not answered within 3 days it gets a reminder. You get an email when the first quote arrives.
